Description

A.E.S. O’Neill grew up going to a private school paid for by a mobster father, rocks out to the Grateful Dead and Beethoven for inspiration, reads comic books, laughs at life's insanity, feeds his inner child, and disregards most of society’s rules—except for the importance of the decency, empathy, and humanity. Roll it all up? He gathers and tells stories.

Starting writing poems at twelve, stories by fourteen, and screenplays by twenty when he went to Stanford film school.

He is a widow and has two adult children living the life of Riley in Bklyn NY.

Currently, he floats between Philadelphia and Marin County, CA.

His major themes tend to engage around polarities, or opposites or the merging of contradictions: it is not good versus evil. It is good and evil. It is not love or murder, it is love and murder. Humans do not exclude, they are often defined by their contradictions. And telling those stories is where he lives.
