For 10+ years, I was a business development executive who chased requests for proposal at the federal and state levels.  I excel at submitting winning and thorough proposals.  While working in business development, on the side I was involved with a start-up brewery as their newsletter editor.  At another startup that is engineering solar-powered aircraft, I wrote their grants and developed their WordPress website. After leaving business development, I was the Vice President of Development for a 501(c)(3) where I wrote grants to secure $250K+ in annual funding. Most recently I worked for a software company writing and proofreading their on-line Help and their User’s Guide.  From this last experience, I worked with MadCap Flare and SourceTree.

I enjoy editing and proofreading books for writers who are entrepreneurs of some sort.  I have also helped writers with building out long, complex articles.  I frequently write, edit, and proofread business communications.  I love nurturing and nudging writers so they gain confidence in themselves and clarity in their writing.  It’s fun helping people pursue their dreams!
