I’ve been a freelance editor since 2011 and have experience working with a wide range of genres and types of editing, including developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, permissions editing, author coaching, and project editing.

Though I have a diverse editing background, I have a strong interest in working with nonfiction, true crime, history, historical fiction, crime fiction, and mystery manuscripts.

I also have over 15 years’ experience working in a public library and a background in teaching college-level composition and tutoring writing.

My academic background includes a B.A. in English and history and a M.A. in English (emphasis in Southern Gothic Literature).
